酒精和毒品政策:

加州州立大学长滩分校 complies with the 《1990年无毒品工作场所法案 和 高等教育法第120a条. University police officers strictly enforce laws regulating the 使用 of alcoholic beverages 和 未成年人饮酒. We are committed to maintaining a safe 和 healthy environment for the entire campus community. The 使用 of alcoholic beverages must be in compliance with California State Law. Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed on University premises that have been licensed by the Department of Alcohol Beverage Control or on other University premises at "approved group sponsored events". The sponsors of such events must obtain prior written approval from the Office of 学生生活 和 发展. The 使用 of alcoholic beverages in any of the residential halls, 包括单人房, 是严格禁止的. A police officer can take the license from any driver suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol 和/or 药物s who ref使用s to take a blood alcohol test.

The 大学警察 Department enforces federal 和 状态 laws, as well as the University's zero tolerance policy for the 使用 和 sale of illegal 药物s. 学生 who violate these laws are subject to academic warning, 悬架, 驱逐, 刑事起诉, 和/或搬出校园宿舍. 学生 engaging in the sale of illegal 药物s will be expelled. 父母 or guardians may be notified about any disciplinary violation involving alcohol or a controlled substance which has been committed by a student who is under the age of 21.

Evolving from a nation-wide necessity to address behaviors such as drinking under the influence, 未成年人饮酒, 以及与危险饮酒相关的因素, ATOD at CSULB has successfully developed innovative campus-wide programs 和 services for students aimed at intervention. As part of an interconnected program it works closely with students 和 surrounding community. 认识到影响力的力量, ATOD has effectively implemented 和 promoted safe 和 healthy choices by offering appealing programs targeted at alcohol 和 药物 issues.

学生 are encouraged to participate in such programs as on-campus weekly Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings 和 various outreach presentations that cover the health effects, 虐待的症状, 以及关于占有的政策, 使用 和 sale of alcoholic beverages 和 illegal 药物s. 还提供信息和转介.

学生健康服务 provides an overall coordination of the ATOD program with direct support from the 学生行为办公室 & 道德的发展. This allows ATOD to be more than just an intervention program; it is a powerful disciplinary process. Offenders will complete the Step 1-2-3 教育 Plan to fulfill campus violation requirements. These steps carry over from one year to the next for as long as the student is enrolled at the University.
