Our mission as student leaders at California State University Long Beach is to provide cadets the necessary skills and leadership training to become officers in the United States Army, 陆军预备役 or Army National Guard, to develop the future officer leadership of the U.S. Army, and to motivate young people to become better citizens.
Army 参加后备役军官训练军团 is Leadership
Army 参加后备役军官训练军团 (Reserve Officers’ 培训 Corps) is one of the best leadership courses in the country. It is an Army leadership and field training program that runs during your normal school schedule. It trains you how to lead and conduct missions as a future officer in the Army. When you graduate, you will earn your commission and gold bar of a Second Lieutenant. It is the best way to get a feel for the Army and still lead a normal college life.

Bravo Company is comprised of Cadets that come from varying backgrounds but come together to train in order become future leaders of the United States Army. Bravo Company works as a cohesive team, 展品友情, and acts as a professional organization. While they are CSULB students, their qualities as a leader that they learn in 参加后备役军官训练军团 are demonstrated in their everyday life activities and distinguishes them from the rest of their peers.
Reserve Officer 培训 Corps (参加后备役军官训练军团) helps train students to be officers in a branch of the US military. The Department of Military Science provides professional training for students leading to a commission upon graduation in the Active Army, 陆军预备役, or the Army National Guard. Military Science instruction is focused on hands-on leadership development and the practical application of military skills needed to produce America's future leaders.
Additionally, military science courses count as electives in many degree programs. MS 101和MS 102 are open to students who are not enrolled in the program, but have an interest in leadership, 管理, military history or military training.
参加后备役军官训练军团 programs offer tuition assistance to cadets by granting numerous scholarships to members who qualify. This assistance can help pay for college tuition and miscellaneous fees, textbooks or other school expenses.
Enrollment in the Army 参加后备役军官训练军团 program is open to qualified full-time students.

The Air Force Reserve Officer 培训 Corps (AF参加后备役军官训练军团) program’s mission is to develop young men and women into quality leaders for the United States Air Force. Air Force 参加后备役军官训练军团 prepares college students to become an Air Force Officer while also earning their college degree. Air Force 参加后备役军官训练军团 also offers a variety of scholarships for students currently in college that can help relieve the financial burden of earning a college degree.
The program consists of a one hour academic course for the first and second year students, and a three hour course for the third and fourth year students. All students must also participate in a weekly one-hour Physical 培训 session and a two-hour leadership laboratory that facilitates the application of leadership theory.
学生 attending California State University, Long Beach can participate in Air Force 参加后备役军官训练军团 at Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in west Los Angeles, the University of Southern California (USC), the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the California State University, 圣贝纳迪诺分校.
