健康学院 & 人类服务部(CHHS) 学术咨询中心 provides both general education and major academic advising to currently matriculated CSULB undergraduate students in all of the CHHS disciplines: Criminology & 刑事司法、家庭 & 消费者科学, 医疗保健管理局, 健康科学, 运动机能学, Nursing, 娱乐 & 休闲研究, Social Work, and 语言语音病理学.

  • 海滩伙伴计划加州州立大学, 长滩(CSULB), 卫生学院 and 人类服务部(CHHS) is partnering with CSULB Counseling and Psychological 服务 (帽) 启动 海滩伙伴计划 2020年秋季. 海滩好友 is a peer mentoring program that offers students a new way to connect with other students for emotional support and mental health resources. Beach Buddies are peer mentors for other students on the CSULB campus who experience difficulties with school, 的关系, 压力管理, 或者其他问题 
  • 帽: Counseling and Psychological 服务 (帽) 远程支持学生. 帽 counselors are available over the phone for crises and emergencies. 帽 current hours are Monday through, from Friday 9 a.m. 到3点.m. During those hours, you can call 562-985-4001 and ask to speak to a counselor. 下班后和周末, you can call that same number and follow the instructions to connect to a counselor 24/7.

学生生活与发展 will continue to support all student organizations, 兄弟会和姐妹会生活, 领导学院, and club sports through virtual formats. 培训 will be offered to clubs and organizations regarding how to offer virtual facilitation of meetings and programs.

Attend our town hall meetings in the fall. We started the town halls to support and connect students, 教师, and staff during this stressful and uncertain time. Our panel of experts includes health, wellness, and safety experts. 加入 CHHS在BeachSync to get notified about our next townhall.

学生健康服务 continues to support students via telehealth and in-person services.

  • 的 SHS remains open for telehealth services Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. 到5点.m.
  • In-person visits are available Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. 到3点.m.

  • CalFresh外展计划: California's name for the federally funded Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). CalFresh benefits are funds on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card which can be used to buy food. 的 CalFresh外展计划 at CSULB provides application and verification assistance to students who meet CalFresh eligibility requirements. Assistance can be found during drop-in hours or through an appointment. 
  • Student Emergency Intervention and Wellness Program: This program serves students experiencing an unforeseen emergency crisis who have exhausted all sources of assistance including financial aid grants and loans. 的 services include an emergency grant up to $500, 紧急膳食援助, 短期紧急住房.
